Originally known as Contrology, the Pilates method is a complete system of exercises carried out on the mat and several pieces of apparatus. Developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1930s, this nearly century old discipline is gaining momentum as a hugely beneficial form of exercise - no matter age or fitness level.
The Classical/Authentic Pilates method stays close to what Joseph created through a series of more than 500 specifically designed low impact, controlled movements on various pieces of apparatus to help people understand the work and target specific weaknesses in the body. Expect a vigorous, total body workout that promotes strength, flexibility, alignment, coordination and balance.

Our studio uses high quality apparatus manufactured according to the original specifications of Joseph Pilates. We are equipped with a Reformer, a Cadillac, 3 Tower / Wall Units, Chairs, Barrels, Pedi Pole and various other small apparatus.
As a purely Classical studio we take pride in maintaining the integrity of Joseph Pilates' original teachings. Our instructors have undergone over 700h of vigorous apprenticeship to become comprehensively certified to teach authentic Pilates.
